My love for Vietnam happened the very first time I visited Ha Long Bay. Floating in the middle of the bay, my mind was filled with a sense of calm. Ha Long Bay was one of those places that left a mark on me and I was eager to return to see how much it had changed.
Despite being away for seven years – it was almost as I remembered. Unfortunately, with the additional popularity, there seems to be more trash floating in the water which is really disappointing to see. However, it is still a place I’d recommend for anyone visiting Vietnam. Consider booking a private boat for your journey in Ha Long Bay. There are tons of boats that in Ca Bat Island, however, a private journey provides a relaxing and unique experience.
