In early October we headed up to Yosemite National Park for a quick weekend trip. I’ve been to Yosemite National Park before but never camped inside the park. We booked our campsite at Lower Pines Campground six months in advance but it was worth the wait. The convenience of being centrally located and the ability to take a shuttle everywhere was nice. You should plan early my friends! Read the campground reservation site carefully and mark your calendars ahead of time and have an idea of which sites you’re interested in as they go quickly.
It was a sad to see how many trees have died because of the beetles and drought but hopefully, we can recover from this soon. Despite that fact Yosemite National Park is still a beautiful place. We spent most of the weekend relaxing and enjoying the wonders of nature.
