growing up i used to have a dream that i would one day open my own coffee shop with a home/market shop on the side. it would be a place for people to meet and work as well as a place to buy tasty eats and accessories for the home. the dream sort of passed but if it ever came back, i’d want to the space to look like sightglass coffee.
i instantly fell in love with the space when i was visiting on my last trip to san francisco. it’s an open space with two floors, filled with lots of natural light. i had some coffee with a friend but i lingered and just enjoyed the space. somehow being there just made me feel inspired – do you ever feel like that about a shop you’re visiting?
they have a small coffee menu – it’s basically your coffee, cappuccino, lattes, and espressos – but they do also have a mocha but not many (or any… if i recall correctly) tea or juice options. regardless of how you like your coffee they serve it well here and if you’re not a coffee person this place is worth checking out just because.
