so excited to share a new collaboration with the ever so talented adrianna adarme of a cozy kitchen. if you’re not familiar with a cozy kitchen, please go check her out right away! she just released a beautiful cookbook all about pancakes!

i know a lot of times i am sharing photos of a beautiful restaurant or meal that i’ve had. if you don’t live near by or don’t have a trip planned you can’t do much with the information besides bookmark it for a later visit. adrianne is a wiz in the kitchen and with her help we are going inside some of our favorite la spots to bring you a little piece of their kitchen into yours. we’ll share some stories of the restaurants and later bring you a recipe you can make in your very own kitchen.

today we have the popular short cake, an adorable pastry shop located in the farmers market at the grove. they carry pies, cakes, breakfast pastries, and specialty gluten-free items as well as salads and sandwiches all with the the highest-quality, seasonal ingredients.

just in time for summer, they are baking up a white peach crisp with a brown butter walnut crumble. doesn’t that sound incredible? well it is, top it with some ice cream and you are all set! be sure to check back here tomorrow for a sweet version you can make at home!
