it’s july and it’s hot, what better way to celebrate summer time than with an ice cream party? but really is there ever a bad time to have an ice cream party!? last week with the help of target and jonathan lo of happy mundane we hosted a simple ice cream social at his pad.
i was excited to have our friends together, jon has a great eye so i asked him for his help picking out some pieces to bring our party together. we picked up lots of good stuff and of course some things to fill our sweet tooth for the day.
vanilla, chocolate, cremé cake berry swirl were just a few of our ice cream flavors and of course some toppings – we had berries, bananas, chocolate wafers, apple cinnamon cereal, and almond cinnamon and apple fruit clusters from target’s new simply balanced line. let me just say do yourself a favor and go pick up those clusters – seriously so tasty, its chewy but crunchy, perfectly sweet and goes well with that vanilla ice cream. (and made with ingredients you know and can pronounce!).
