last year american express asked me to document some of my favorite places to shop/eat small in collaboration with small business saturday, i was thrilled about the opportunity. there are lots of places i love in los angeles and i thought it would be fun to share a few photos from my shoot. i hope you’ll pay a visit to all of these unique shops.
i first learned about twig and willow on design*sponge’s long beach city guide, and happy to have discovered it’s in my backyard! the shop is only a few blocks from my house and is so charming. they carry clothing, accessories, apothecary, baby, and my favorite from the store, jewelry. if you ever need help finding something special, their staff is incredibly friendly and can help you find whatever you need!
