last year american express asked me to document some of my favorite places to shop/eat small in collaboration with small business saturday, i was thrilled about the opportunity. there are lots of places i love in los angeles and i thought it would be fun to share a few photos from my shoot. i hope you’ll pay a visit to all of these unique shops.
nom nom nom, i love pie hole! it’s right down the street from poketo and wurstkuche and the perfect place to go for a snack or even a full on meal. yes that means two pies, one savory + one sweet (but really, when i go, i go crazy proof is on my instagram!) my favorite savory pie is the turkey pot pie, it’s seasonal but so very very delicious. as far as sweet pie’s go, i doubt you can go wrong with anything here – i am a fan of their mexican chocolate pie and pumpkin pie. i’ve heard rumors about a thai tea pie that i am dying to try.
